Getting geo-hot with Gossing Construction

There will be many surprises and interesting features at this year’s Parade. One of them is the Geothermal Heating System used in the home built by Gossing Construction. Just as they finished covering up the 150 foot deep wells dug for the system, we made a little house call to talk about the system with Dominic Giordano of Gossing and Wayne Yoder of West Jefferson Plumbing and Heating.

Geothermal heating and cooling systems can be a little confusing. Dominic suggests following this link if you’d like to learn a little more about how the whole thing works.

And, by all means, feel free to post a comment if you have specific questions.

Illuminating the Parade

In an effort to give some behind-the-scenes looks at all the different aspects of the home building and decorating process, we followed Sarah Schnulo, design center manager for Romanelli & Hughes, on a recent outing to make some decisions about lighting. With approximately 50 fixtures to select, the folks at Capital Lighting have their work cut out for them. And so does Sarah.
